My Refuge City offers crisis assistance to victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Sex trafficking is a growing problem across North Carolina and it's fueled by factors like homelessness, poverty, addiction, and abuse.
We work to prevent trafficking through an active presence in high risk communities. We meet physical needs and share the hope found only in Jesus.
We provide survivors with ongoing support emotionally, spiritually, and financially. MRC also hosts a monthly support group for survivors of trafficking, abuse, addiction, and assault in Catawba County, NC.
How You Can Help
Volunteer Join our strong army of volunteers. We do outreach events twice a year (Summer and Christmas) and we always need more volunteers to make these events have maximum impact on the community. We also need volunteers to provide meals for our monthly support group. Contact us for more information.
Do Battle in Prayer We recognize that we are fighting a fierce spiritual battle, where real lives are at stake. We desperately need prayer warriors who will come alongside us to pray over specific, immediate needs.
Make a Donation. My Refuge City is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All gifts are tax-deductible.
"We want to be the first stop for those who are hurting, a safe place to breathe and rest, while we support and match each individual with appropriate long-term programs and services to deal with trauma, abuse, addiction, PTSD, and chronic homelessness."
